DTEK CEO Timchenko discusses support for Ukraine’s energy system with global leaders at Munich conference

He said this on his LinkedIn page.

«I spoke with leaders about Ukraine’s urgent energy needs, including protecting energy infrastructure with enhanced air defense weapons and supporting the immediate energy supply of Ukrainian homes with mobile generators and equipment to repair damaged power plants and the grid, ” he said.

Timchenko said Europe should learn from the energy war in Ukraine and boost its own energy security.

«Protecting this infrastructure is vital for national security, so investments in battle-tested decentralized energy systems have never been more urgent, ” the DTEK chief said.
