The Kremlin continues to push ultimatum-style conditions for negotiations with Ukraine, effectively ruling out any possibility of a dialogue between equals.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but has set his own conditions.

This was stated by the dictator’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, according to Russian state propaganda outlets.

Peskov said such a meeting would be possible only to finalize agreements already reached.

«The primary issue is the objective of the meeting. What is the purpose of meeting? Putin has said he is ready to meet in Moscow at any moment. The key is that there must be a purpose, the meeting must be productive, and it can only happen to finalize agreements,» he said cynically.

In effect, Putin’s spokesman admitted that no meeting will take place unless Ukraine submits to Russian demands and capitulates.

The Kremlin representative also acknowledged a total lack of specifics regarding a potential visit to Russia by Trump’s special envoys, Witkoff and Kushner.

«We hope these trips will continue. But as for when exactly it will happen, we cannot say at this time,» he remarked.
