Kremlin issues ultimatum for restarting Ukraine-U.S. talks: what they want
The Russian dictator’s aide, Yuri Ushakov, brazenly stated that there will be no talks until the Ukrainian army leaves the Donbas territory.

The Kremlin has issued an ultimatum for the continuation of trilateral peace negotiations with Ukraine and the United States — the Putin regime continues to demand the "surrender" of Donbas.
This was stated by the Russian dictator’s aide, Yuri Ushakov, as quoted by Russian propaganda media.
He cynically claimed that a new round of trilateral negotiations between Moscow, Washington, and Kyiv regarding Ukraine is currently "pointless" until the Armed Forces of Ukraine withdraws from the Donetsk region.
"Everyone understands, including, I would say, the Ukrainian negotiators, that Kyiv now needs to take only one serious step, after which, first, military actions will be suspended, and second, prospects will open for a serious discussion of a long-term settlement," the dictator's aide said.
Ushakov admitted that the US is currently preoccupied with "other serious problems."
Earlier, Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the Head of the Office of the President, said that handing Donbas over to Russia would not stop the war, but would instead encourage the Kremlin to demand the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions as well.
