The Kremlin is trying to justify the lack of results in the Geneva negotiations by presenting the short duration of meetings as «part of the working process.» Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the quick end to discussions on Wednesday, February 18, allegedly does not indicate an absence of progress.
This was reported by Russian propaganda media.
Although the second day of talks turned out to be much shorter than the previous one, the representative of the aggressor state urged against making «premature conclusions.»
«The shorter duration of negotiations on Ukraine in Geneva on Wednesday compared with the first day of discussions does not mean there was no progress, ” Peskov was quoted as saying by Russian propaganda outlets.
