Putin’s May 9 ceasefire: Sybiha reveals the dictator’s true intentions

Aggressor state Russia is engaging in manipulation by proposing a so-called ceasefire for May 9 — a move that reflects an unwillingness to end the war.

This was stated by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha during the government’s question hour.

"Right now we are witnessing a new hybrid manipulation tactic by the Kremlin, as they offer us an "Easter" or "Victory Parade" Truce", the foreign minister emphasized.

Sybiha notes that there is growing global recognition that these proposals are merely manipulations and mockery of the peace efforts of the United States and other partners. That is why, according to the minister, pressure on Moscow must be increased to force it toward peace.

“Military deterrence and economic pressure can achieve this and prevent the expansion of aggression,” Sybiha stressed.
