Russia names its conditions for a "peaceful resolution" in Ukraine

Peace in Ukraine can be achieved if three conditions are met, the Kremlin emphasizes.

Russia has once again voiced its own conditions for a peaceful resolution in Ukraine. One of them is Ukraine's non-nuclear status.

This was stated by the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, Sergey Naryshkin.

The official of the aggressor country cynically listed three conditions for peace. In addition to the “non-nuclear” condition, one is the recognition of the sovereignty of Russia's borders.

According to Naryshkin, a peaceful resolution regarding Ukraine could also be reached “after the repeal of discriminatory laws” by Kyiv. Naryshkin also brazenly stated that Russia sensed a desire from the United States “to understand the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis” — this is how the war in Ukraine is referred to in Russia.

In addition, he claimed that he allegedly saw increased NATO military activity near the borders, and that European countries were raising the level of escalation around Ukraine.
