Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that if funding, including a reparations loan, does not arrive by spring, Ukraine will be forced to drastically reduce the production of combat drones. Long-range capabilities will also be curtailed.

“If today we are using our long-range capabilities, and they are functioning, we are simultaneously acting with our European and American partners’ energy sanctions to weaken Russia’s energy resources. All of this simply won’t happen without support,” Zelenskyy cautioned.

The president also noted that some air defense systems have already run out of missiles.

Earlier, during his visit to Brussels, Zelenskyy made a series of statements on assistance to Ukraine.

“Without help, it will be difficult for Ukraine… The EU will pay in blood, not money, because of Russia’s aggression,” the president said.

It is reported that the EU has already frozen around €300 billion in Russian assets, over €140 billion of which are generating revenue. These funds are being proposed for use in aiding Ukraine in a manner that complies with international law.
