In response to Budapest's encroachments, Ukraine is expelling two Hungarian diplomats
After Hungary expelled two Ukrainian diplomats, accusing them of “espionage,” Kyiv took reciprocal measures. Two Hungarian diplomats are being expelled from Ukrainian territory.
This was announced by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.
“Two Hungarian diplomats must leave our country within 48 hours. We have just summoned the Hungarian ambassador to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and handed him the corresponding note. We are acting in response to Hungary’s actions, based on the principle of reciprocity and our national interests,” Sybiha wrote on social media platform X.
