The Kremlin names new condition for meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin
The Kremlin insists that Kyiv and Moscow must first agree on memorandums.
Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Scheduling a possible meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Russian “führer” Vladimir Putin “without prior extensive work” is supposedly “inappropriate.”
This was stated by the spokesperson of the dictator-president, Dmitry Peskov.
He emphasized that today, during a meeting between representatives of Kyiv and Moscow in Istanbul, among other things, the texts of the memorandums will be discussed. According to Peskov, the work on agreeing on draft memorandums “is the preparation for a possible meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy.”
A Russian-Ukrainian summit is only possible after the memorandums have been agreed upon; otherwise, it is inappropriate, the representative of the dictator Putin’s administration stated.
