Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha responded to the morning’s combined Russian attack on Kyiv, urging maximum pressure on Moscow. He made the statement on his X page.

“It’s a horrific morning in Kyiv. Brutal Russian strikes have destroyed entire residential buildings and damaged schools and hospitals. Civilians have been injured and killed. People are still trapped under the rubble. It’s probably time to reduce to zero all the deadlines given to Putin to show a constructive approach,” Sybiha said.

He noted that U.S. President Donald Trump “has been very generous and very patient with Putin.” However, the Russian dictator “does not care about any attempts to stop the killings.”

“President Trump has been very generous and very patient with Putin, trying to find a solution. Putin does this deliberately. He doesn’t care about any efforts to end the killings. He only seeks to destroy and kill. After all, the entire existence of this war criminal is based on this senseless war, which he cannot win but refuses to end. He must face justice,” the statement reads.

The Foreign Minister called for maximum pressure on Moscow and full synchronization of sanctions regimes.

“The time has come to make him feel the pain and consequences of his decisions. The time has come to exert maximum pressure on Moscow. The time has come to synchronize all sanctions measures. The time has come to achieve peace through strength,” Sybiha added.
