Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak shared a photo of himself embracing Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, in Washington.
Yermak detailed the topics discussed during the meeting with Kellogg on social media.
According to him, the parties discussed the situation at the front, the outcomes of the Istanbul talks, the importance of strengthening sanctions against Russia, and defense assistance to Ukraine.
They also addressed the issue of children abducted by Russia. The head of the Presidential Office informed Kellogg about the lists of children provided to the Russian side and emphasized the importance of returning young Ukrainians to their homeland.
Additionally, he explained to Kellogg why Ukraine carried out Operation «Spider’s Web» and struck Russian aviation.
«I said that Russia is doing everything to avoid ceasing fire. This must be stopped through strength, as Ukraine has done everything to end the war. But if Russia does not cease fire voluntarily, we are forced to conduct operations and destroy their military potential. We are grateful to U.S. President Donald Trump and the entire American people, both parties, for their support of Ukraine, ” Yermak concluded.
