President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the heads of Ukraine’s diplomatic missions, during which he outlined five main areas for the continued work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and embassies abroad.

He shared this in a statement on his Telegram channel following the meeting with Ukrainian ambassadors.

According to Zelenskyy, the first priority is ensuring Ukraine is supplied with weapons — primarily all types of drones. He emphasized that embassies must take the lead in finding additional sources of funding to meet defense needs.

The second focus is strengthening sanctions pressure on Russia. The President called for more active efforts regarding frozen Russian assets, harmonizing sanctions with international partners, and advancing specific mechanisms for holding the aggressor accountable for starting the war.

The third direction is deepening Euro-Atlantic integration. This includes implementing the security agreements already signed, working toward EU and NATO membership, and strengthening special formats of cooperation with key partner states.

The fourth task involves negotiations to end the war. Zelenskyy highlighted the need to intensify dialogue with international allies to secure the return of Ukrainian prisoners of war, children abducted by Russia, and to prepare for the next summit of partner country leaders.

The fifth point is supporting Ukrainians abroad. According to the President, every Ukrainian citizen temporarily outside the country must have access to all necessary services and feel connected to their homeland.

“Everything that is needed for our people abroad and can be provided — must be provided,” Zelenskyy stressed.
