Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto stated that his country is prepared to dispatch peacekeepers to Ukraine under the auspices of the United Nations. He made the remarks during a session of the UN General Assembly, as reported by Ukrinform.
«We will continue to serve where peace needs guardians. Not just with words, but with „boots on the ground.“ If and when the UN Security Council and this General Assembly decide, Indonesia is ready to send 20,000 or even more of our sons and daughters to establish peace in Ukraine, in Gaza, in Sudan, in Libya, everywhere peace needs to be enforced. Peace must be protected, and we are ready to take our share of the responsibility, ” he declared.
