The Kremlin has finally issued its first reaction of the day to Ukraine’s massive strikes on Moscow, which sparked panic among local residents and damaged an oil refinery. Putin’s camp expressed deep dissatisfaction with the attack, claiming that such strikes "do not bring closer" personal contacts with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The statement was delivered to state propaganda media by Yury Ushakov, an aide to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.
Notably, no official reactions to the explosions in Moscow had been voiced throughout the entire day. As of 3:00 p.m., this stands as the first official commentary from Kremlin representatives.
"They do not facilitate the establishment of personal contacts between the head of the Kyiv regime and our president," Putin's henchman stated.
