The Russian Ministry of Defense published a list of European branches of Ukrainian arms companies and European enterprises engaged in joint defense production for Ukraine.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, labeled these sites as potential targets for Russian strikes, in a post on X.

«The list of European enterprises producing drones and other equipment is a list of potential targets for the Russian armed forces, ” he says.

This time, Medvedev notably refrained from nuclear saber-rattling. However, he did not elaborate on how or when Russia plans to attack more than 10 countries, including EU members Germany, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, and Czechia, as well as the UK, Turkey, and non-European Israel.

«When the strikes become a reality depends on what happens next. Sleep soundly, European partners!» the former Russian president and Putin henchman threatened.

Andriy Kovalenko, Head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the NSDC, pointed to the sheer scale of the nations the aggressor state chose to threaten.

«Just imagine the retaliation Russia would face, considering their air defense consistently and steadily fails to intercept Ukrainian strikes on their own strategic enterprises and sites, ” he remarked.

Kovalenko suggested that the Kremlin is deeply rattled by the scaling up of defense aid to Ukraine.

«They are terrified. They try to intimidate — they always do that when they’re scared. Mentally, it’s a defense mechanism against fear. And that’s a good sign. Let them end the war, ” he concluded.
