The Russian Federation continues to threaten the world with its nuclear capabilities. On Saturday, 1 November, Defense Minister Andrei Belousov attended the launch of the latest nuclear-powered submarine "Khabarovsk", designed to carry "Poseidon" nuclear torpedoes.
The announcement came from the Defense Ministry of the aggressor state, which also released a video of the launch on its official Telegram channel.
During the pompous ceremony at the "Sevmash" shipyard in Severodvinsk, Minister Belousov called the event “a landmark moment.”
According to him, the Khabarovsk submarine is intended to ensure “the security of Russia’s maritime borders and the protection of its national interests across the world’s oceans.”
Russian state media claim that "Khabarovsk" can be equipped with up to 12 "Poseidon" nuclear torpedoes — autonomous underwater weapons allegedly capable of “striking targets anywhere in the ocean.”
