President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has officially approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against five Chinese companies whose components were discovered in downed Russian Shahed drones.
This is stated in the presidential decree dated July 8, published on the official website of the Head of State.
The sanctions apply to companies such as Ningbo BLIN Machinery Co., Ltd and Suzhou ECOD Precision Manufacturing. They supplied their products to sanctioned Russian enterprises in 2024 and 2025.
«During the massive attack on Kyiv on the night of July 4, Chinese-made components were found in the downed Shahed drones. Today, these companies were sanctioned,» commented Vladyslav Vlasiuk, the President’s Commissioner for Sanctions Policy.
Ukraine continues to work with international partners in the sanctions coalition to increase pressure on Chinese manufacturers that contribute to arming Russia.
