European contingent in Ukraine: Officer suggests whether this could make Russia stop
Deploying a European contingent in Ukraine would likely only give Russia more time to prepare for a new offensive.

Western partners are expected to try positioning their forces along the front line. This would effectively halt active operations without addressing the underlying issue.
Mamuka Mamulashvili, commander of the volunteer battalion “Georgian Legion,” said on Ranok.LIVE that European troops should ideally be stationed in a “grey zone” dividing Ukraine and Russia.
However, he voiced skepticism about the practical implementation of this plan. He suggested that European forces would probably place their units right along the line of contact.
“In my view, this resembles freezing the conflict, and it will not have a positive impact for Ukraine. It will give Russia time to rearm and strike Ukraine again. Therefore, I am very skeptical about any agreement with Russia, if it even signs one at all,” he concluded.
