Evacuation severely complicated: Over 800 people still remain in Kupiansk

As of today, more than 800 people remain in Kupiansk. The situation is critical.
This was reported by Andriy Kanashovych, Head of the Kupiansk District State Administration.
"But the same can be said for the villages closest to the city. Evacuation is significantly complicated today because people have to be transported under quite difficult and dangerous conditions," said Kanashovych.
He added that, according to the administration's estimates, slightly more than 800 people remained in the city. However, the figure may not be precise.
"Lately, it's been hard to keep statistics. There are people who leave on their own. The number of wounded is increasing significantly," Kanashovych concluded.
