Five strikes on Kharkiv: Russian guided bombs hit residential areas, fatalities reported

The Russian terrorist army launched five guided aerial bomb strikes on Kharkiv on Wednesday, July 1. At least six people, including a 16-year-old boy, were injured in the attack, while two people were reported killed.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Oleh Synehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, confirmed the strikes via Telegram.

According to preliminary data from the Situation Center, Russian forces dropped five guided bombs: three strikes were recorded in the Osnovianskyi district and two in the Kyivskyi district.

Russian terrorist attacks were also reported in the Slobidskyi district and along the border between the Novobavarskyi and Osnovianskyi districts.

In the Kyivskyi district, one of the air bombs hit a private house, also damaging a car. In the Osnovianskyi district, a fire broke out after the strike. Emergency services are working at the scene.

«Six people were injured as a result of the enemy bomb strikes on Kharkiv, including a 16-year-old boy,» Oleh Synehubov stated.

Medics are providing emergency care to all victims, while officials continue to inspect the impact sites and assess the full scale of the damage.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov later confirmed that the attack had claimed two lives.

«The deaths of two people in the Novobavarskyi district have been confirmed. One of them was a 15-year-old boy,» Terekhov wrote.
