Serhii «Flash» Beskrestnov, a radio technology expert and adviser to the Minister of Defense, has firmly dismissed online rumours claiming that Ukrainian air defense assets are being transferred to other countries. According to him, posts circulating online have no basis in reality.

He wrote about this on Facebook.

Priority remains Ukraine’s airspace

Serhii «Flash» stressed that protecting Ukraine’s airspace remains the top priority for the country’s military and political leadership. No interceptor drones tasked with defending Ukrainian cities from Russian attacks have been withdrawn from duty.

«No one has taken interceptor drones off combat duty or sent them to the Middle East. No one has given away the stocks of interceptors we currently need. This is complete nonsense, ” the expert said.

Cooperation with partners without weakening defense

Beskrestnov confirmed that Ukraine maintains active cooperation with international partners, which is conducted on a two-way basis. However, he stressed that any assistance to allies does not come at the expense of Ukraine’s defense.

He said all available interceptor drones remain deployed in Ukraine and that strategic reserves for domestic needs are untouched.

The adviser added that cooperation with partners does not undermine national security interests.

He urged Ukrainians to remain cautious about manipulation on social media and to rely only on verified sources, warning that such claims are aimed at undermining trust in the military leadership.
