Massive attack on Lutsk: Damage, injuries, and explosions throughout the night

During the massive air attack by Russia in the early hours of June 6, several explosions were heard in the Lutsk community. There are injuries as a result of the attack. The number of victims is still being clarified.

In the regional center, the roof of a multi-story residential building was damaged, and many windows were shattered. Commercial facilities and private vehicles were also affected, according to Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk.

An air alert was announced in the region at 00:55. In the early hours of June 6, Lutsk faced a massive attack from Russia — explosions were heard, there are victims, and civilian infrastructure was damaged. At 02:34 a.m., the Ukrainian Air Force warned of Russian drones moving toward Lutsk. At 04:25 a.m., a report emerged about a group of cruise missiles heading toward the city.

The first sounds of explosions in the city and its outskirts occured at 02:39 a.m., according to Suspilne correspondents. Subsequent explosions were heard at 03:47, 03:51, 04:04, 04:13, and 04:26 a.m. The final explosions in Lutsk were recorded at 05:15 a.m., with the Ukrainian Air Force warning of the danger from drones.
