Poland would be unable to protect its citizens in the event of a large-scale Russian air attack.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with Sky News.

According to Zelenskyy, during the latest attack on September 10, Poland managed to shoot down only four out of 19 targets, while Ukrainian forces downed 700 out of 810 enemy drones.

«We faced 810 drones, and we shot down 700. They had 19 and shot down four. And those weren’t even missiles or ballistic weapons. Naturally, they wouldn’t be able to save people if there’s a massive attack, ” he said.

However, Zelenskyy noted that the Poles «aren’t in a war, so they’re not prepared for such things.»

The President revealed that he recently spoke with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, during which he proposed that Ukrainians train Polish air defense forces.

«They really need this. And it’s not just about Poland, ” the Head of State believes.
