Practicing nuclear strike: Expert warns of threat from «Zapad-2025» drills in Belarus

The CSTO exercises in Belarus are not a threat to Ukraine, but the «Zapad-2025» exercises should be closely monitored.
He stated this on air of «Den.LIVE.»
Seleznov noted that the very fact of the maneuvers that began yesterday is not a serious threat, although tasks will be practiced during them, in particular regarding the planning of the use of nuclear weapons.
The real concern, according to him, is the joint Russian-Belarusian «Zapad-2025» exercises scheduled for mid-September.
«There, special forces will be involved, and the command of forces, logistical support, mobilization measures, and synchronization of actions between Moscow and Minsk will be practiced, ” the military expert explained.
