Russian occupying troops have increased their manpower in Pokrovsk, using the thick fog, that hung over the city throughout 28 November, to their advantage.
The 7th Rapid Response Corps reported this.
These weather conditions have hampered aerial reconnaissance, with limited visibility preventing effective detection and targeting of the enemy.
“The enemy is trying to exploit poor visibility to amass forces, set up shelters in buildings, and prepare for a further offensive. In bad weather, they can bring more troops into the city,” the statement said.
Nevertheless, the Defense Forces continue to contain Russian troops along the entire front line within the 7th Rapid Response Corps’ area of responsibility.
On 27–28 November, Ukrainian troops in Pokrovsk eliminated 29 occupiers and wounded another nine. Most of the enemy were eliminated in small-arms engagements.
