Russia attacks Poltava, causing power and water outages
Overnight on May 13, the enemy attacked the Poltava community with drones, hitting an electrical substation.

Explosions rocked Poltava on May 13. The city’s 15-80 emergency service is receiving numerous reports of electricity and water supply disruptions.
Kateryna Yamshchykova, Secretary of the Poltava City Council, reported the situation via Telegram.
«According to preliminary information, blast waves have damaged windows in residential buildings. Most importantly, as of now, there have been no admissions to city hospitals,» she wrote.
Municipal services are currently determining the extent of the damage and working in coordination with specialized units.
Vitaliy Diakivnych, Head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, confirmed the overnight drone strikes on the electrical substation.
«Over 6,500 residential households and 548 commercial entities have been left without power,» he stated.
According to the official, glazing in nearby residential buildings was also damaged. No information about injuries has been reported so far.
