Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper reported the strikes.
During the overnight attack, Russian drones hit two civilian vessels flying the flags of Guinea-Bissau and the Marshall Islands. Both ships were waiting to enter ports in the Odesa region and were traveling through the Ukrainian corridor.
Small fires broke out onboard after the strikes, but the crews managed to quickly contain them on their own. No crew members were injured.
Despite the damage, the vessels remained seaworthy and continued toward their destinations.
Kiper also said that a civilian vessel flying the Panamanian flag was hit in the morning while traveling through the Ukrainian corridor toward the port of Chornomorsk.
The ship was damaged and caught fire, but the crew extinguished the blaze independently. No injuries were reported, and the vessel continued on its route.
