At the end of summer and beginning of autumn, the Russian terrorist army is preparing a second wave of terrorist air attacks, which will be particularly dangerous for residents of regional centers and densely populated cities.
This warning was issued by retired Ukrainian Armed Forces Colonel and military expert Roman Svitan in a comment to the YouTube channel Times of Ukraine.
According to him, the entire territory of Ukraine is under threat, but areas critical for the supply of military equipment and ammunition necessary for the country’s defense are particularly at risk.
Additionally, the expert believes that Russian terrorists will exert pressure on the civilian population of major cities.
«They will target areas with the highest population density, such as regional centers, ” Svitan suggested.
The expert believes that countering Russia’s air terror will be possible once Ukraine has sufficient interceptor drones deployed along the entire frontline, extending 50 kilometers deep, to prevent enemy drones from penetrating.
According to his calculations, if Russia produces an average of 200 drones per day, Ukraine would need at least three interceptor drones for each Russian drone.
«Roughly speaking, if at least 500 drones are produced daily, that would be enough to counter Russian pressure, ” Svitan noted.
He believes that with proper funding, Ukraine could achieve this level of production within six months.
