Since the morning of July 9, Russian forces have launched attacks across Ukraine, targeting several regional capitals. Explosions were reported on the outskirts of Dnipro and in Kharkiv, while Kherson has remained under continuous shelling.

Explosions in Kharkiv
An air raid alert was active in the Kharkiv district from 8:49 a.m. to 10:37 a.m. The Air Force warned of drones approaching the city from the north. Local media reported explosions, but local authorities have not yet commented.

Attack on Dnipro
Air raid sirens sounded in Dnipro and the surrounding community from 9:22 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. The military warned of drones heading toward the regional capital, and explosions were later heard.
Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Ganzha said Russia had attacked Dnipro district.
"A fire broke out on the grounds of a private household. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties,” the official stated.
Attack on Kherson
Russian forces have been pounding the regional capital since early morning, deploying guided aerial bombs and loitering munitions across the region.
Local authorities reported that the strikes have left parts of the city, including the Korabelnyi and Dniprovskyi districts, entirely without power. Power lines were severed during the bombardment, and the city's trolleybus network has been temporarily grounded due to severe damage to the overhead contact lines.
At least two civilians—men aged 57 and 77—sustained injuries. Medical personnel diagnosed them with blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, and contusions.
According to the State Emergency Service, two people were killed after a Russian drone struck a civilian car. The vehicle burst into flames immediately following the impact.
