Every day the Russian army launches storming operations in the region. The occupiers mainly stick to central asphalt roads, pushing along them towards settlements in the direction of Pokrovsk.

This was reported by a soldier with the call sign “Osman,” Stanislav Bunyatov.

He also described the situation in Zaporizhzhia region.

“Alongside the assaults in Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russians are pressing hard toward Huliaipole, the situation there also needs stabilization,” Osman concluded.

As we reported earlier, Russia is not aiming to seize the entire Dnipropetrovsk region. The heavy fighting near the administrative border is explained by their attempts to capture Pokrovsk.

Thus, the desire to take Pokrovsk forces the occupiers to maneuver and operate at the administrative border, since the local terrain offers opportunities for encirclement or partial encirclement of the city.
