Significant defense packages are expected by Ukraine soon — Zelenskyy

Ukraine is anticipating new substantial defense packages from partner countries in the near future, as well as decisions on further cooperation.
This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his video address.
He announced that Ukraine is currently preparing sanctions against a number of countries that, unfortunately, help Russian aggressors bypass Western sanctions.
“We continue to strengthen our defense: we expect significant defense packages for Ukraine soon, as well as decisions on further cooperation — cooperation during the war with key countries and in the post-war period. We are laying serious foundations for reconstruction,” the President said.
At the same time, according to Zelenskyy, Kyiv is ready to move toward a ceasefire if Russia is willing to take reciprocal steps — toward complete silence, including for 30 days.
“This is a fair period during which the next steps can be prepared. Russia must stop the war, halt assaults, and cease shelling,” Zelenskyy stated.
