The aftermath of the attack on Kharkiv
The Russian army attacked Kharkiv with drones late in the evening on May 2. At least 47 civilians were injured, including an 11-year-old girl. The press service of the National Police reports this.
The strikes caused numerous fires in the city. Multi-story and private buildings, cars, a civilian enterprise, and a shop caught fire.
According to local authorities, a series of explosions occurred in various districts of Kharkiv during the air raid alert. Four districts of the city were hit: Slobidskyi, Saltivskyi, Kyivskyi, and Osnovyanskyi.

As reported, on the evening of May 2 , a massive drone attack took place on Kharkiv. The strikes occurred in 12 locations in four districts of the city. Fires broke out at the sites of some of the “arrivals.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the Russian attack on Kharkiv and stated that almost every night in Ukraine turns into horror. According to the head of state, there were no military targets in Kharkiv, where the attacks took place.
