The European Union has provided Ukraine with four additional recommendations that will accelerate the accession to the EU.

Our state has already fulfilled three of them. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote about this on his social media page.

"Ukraine has already fulfilled three of the four additional recommendations of the European Union. The fourth is the government draft law on lobbying, which the Verkhovna Rada has already adopted in the first reading. These additional EU recommendations on strengthening institutions and transforming laws in accordance with European rules were received by Ukraine last November," Denys Shmyhal emphasized.

He also added that the government of our country has initiated the so-called self-screening of Ukrainian legislation to align it with European standards, without waiting for the decision of European partners.

"On January 17, the EuroCommission already supported the decision to start screening Ukrainian legislation as part of the preparation for the negotiating framework. Also, this year the government will approve the National Programme for the Adaptation of Ukrainian Legislation to the Law of the European Union. We are concentrating resources and energy to be fully prepared for EU accession as quickly as possible," - the Prime Minister emphasized.
