Expert reveals daily losses that would cripple Russia’s ability to wage war

To lose the ability to actively wage war, the Russian army would need to suffer at least 1,300 soldier casualties per day.

Currently, Russia’s capacity to replenish its forces exceeds its losses. The enemy is not in the worst position.

This was stated by Pavlo Lakiychuk, Director of Security Programs at the Center for Global Studies "Strategy XXI", on the air of “KYIV24”.

Unfortunately, today Russia has sufficient resources to continue waging war against Ukraine — particularly when it comes to manpower.

“In order for the Russian war machine to lose its potential to continue the war, daily losses must reach between 1,300 and 1,600 personnel,” Lakiychuk says.

That is why, the expert admits, Russian troops are not in the worst position.

“Unfortunately, the Russians are currently in a favorable position in this regard. Things aren’t going well for them, but they’re not as bad as they should be,” Lakiychuk believes.
