Invaders are Increasingly Abducting ZNPP Workers in Enerhodar – City Mayor
In the temporarily seized city of Enerhodar, cases of abductions of nuclear power plant workers who do not want to work with the invaders have recently become more frequent, according to Dmytro Orlov, the Mayor of Enerhodar, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past week, cases of abductions of nuclear plant workers who do not agree to sign contracts with the fake company from Rosatom have become more frequent. The last 2-3 days have seen an increase in such cases," Orlov said.
The abductions began in March last year.
"There are several torture prisons. They are in the city and on the territory of the industrial site. It is because of the limited number of places in the torture prisons that people are periodically released. They use various tortures, including physical violence and electric shock," Orlov said.
According to him, those who do not agree to work for Rosatom are not allowed to enter the plant. Less than a thousand people have signed contracts. Therefore, the invaders are even looking for candidates on social media.
ZNPP is currently connected to the Ukrainian power grid, although it does not generate electricity, but rather consumes it.
"The situation in Enerhodar remains critical, as there is virtually no heating in the city, since the enemy is not allowing any of the nuclear power units to start up. We have no other source of centralized heating. There is no hot water either. The temperature in the houses is 10-15 degrees. Only 15,000 people remain in the city," the Mayor summarized.
