North Korea could have transferred missiles to Russia in exchange for fighter jets

The fact that the Russian Federation helped the DPRK with aviation is quite likely.

For North Korea, the supply of ballistic missiles to Russia is a beneficial position. For its part, the DPRK receives something from Russia for itself.

Ivan Stupak, a military expert and SSU employee from 2004-2015, told about this on the air of the “Espresso” TV channel.

"North Korea didn't just hand over ballistic missiles to Russia. They could have exchanged them for money, gold, food products, technology, or military equipment, which holds significant value for North Korea," Ivan Stupak emphasized.

He also added that it is quite likely that Russia assisted North Korea with aviation, particularly with Su-35 fighters.

"Perhaps they contracted a certain amount of aviation equipment that is important for North Korea. They have old Soviet aircraft in their arsenal. For instance, Su-35s are currently very interesting for them. It is likely that North Korea will receive them in the near future, just as Iran received," the expert noted.
