Russian dictator Volodymyr Putin once again said that he was supposedly ready for peace with Ukraine. However, as always, it comes with ultimatums.

The Kremlin's "führer" made this statement during the BRICS business forum in Moscow on October 18.

According to Putin, he is against a "ceasefire for a week, two weeks, or a year" in Ukraine. Allegedly, Moscow needs conditions for lasting peace, which could be the so-called Istanbul agreements.

"Russia is ready to engage in dialogue about a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, but only based on the Istanbul agreements," the Kremlin leader said. At the same time, the dictator cynically stated that "Russian fighters are fighting during the "special operation" for their territories."

Therefore, according to Putin, Russia is "ready to continue the armed struggle."
