Another disinformation from Russian propagandists regarding the alleged preparation of a chemical attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine appeared on the Internet.
This information has been debunked by the Center for Strategic Communications.
The Center categorically denies the Russian fabrications, emphasizing that Ukraine does not use poisonous gases in warfare. Instead, it is the Russian occupiers who consistently employ chemical weapons against Ukraine's Defense Forces.
According to the Center, Ukrainian military documented 715 instances of chemical weapon use by the Russians in May. Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, there have been 2,698 documented cases. The occupiers use munitions loaded with dangerous chemical substances.
Experts from the Center for Strategic Communications warn of the high probability that Russia might use chemical agents and try to shift the blame onto Ukraine. Such actions are typical of the aggressor country, which frequently resorts to provocations and disinformation.
