"Russian Army Has Concentrated Enough Efforts to Launch Offensive Operations Along Three Core Directions": Arestovych Warned Ukrainian People About Upcoming Challenging Week

According to him, the Russian troops have concentrated enough forces to launch offensive operation along three core directions.

As Arestovych explained on Monday, June 6th, during his livestream with Mark Feigin, the Russian human rights advocate, the Russian troops are advancing towards Bakhmut – Lysychansk highway in order to surround the Ukrainian forces in Luhansk Region.

“They are advancing in that direction. By now, we haven’t stopped this advance yet. They are moving slow, but still are moving. There is a good chance that they will cut off the highway…. If they manage to close this “cauldron”, we will have the second Mariupol”, the Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine explained.

Arestovych also assumed that Sloviansk might be besieged by the Russian troops within one week. “The siege of Sloviansk is already seen on the horizon. If this happens, our forces to the north from Siverskyi Donets will either retreat to the southern bank or face painful defeat”, he added.
