Russian forces continue "cutting off" the Vremivka ledge in Donetsk region, threatening encirclement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces .

This was reported by analysts from Deep State.

According to their assessment, the most difficult situation in the area of Velyka Novosilka is currently along the Makarivka–Blahodatne–Storozhove axis.

"After capturing Blahodatne, the enemy has been continuously deploying infantry into the village in small groups while intensifying assault operations between Storozhove and Makarivka to cut off the latter, as it has proven to be a stubborn obstacle. Separately, there are attempts to infiltrate Storozhove itself, aiming to establish positions and gain a foothold there," Deep State reported.

The analysts highlight that all Russian movements are focused on encircling Velyka Novosilka, disrupting logistics, and eventually occupying the settlement.

They also note that a few days ago, Ukrainian forces launched an operation on the village of Novyi Komar. It was successful, because the occupiers entrenched themselves in the village.

Currently, the situation near Makarivka remains the most critical.

"The most concerning developments are now unfolding around Makarivka, which could lead to unfavorable outcomes. Instead of addressing this directly, efforts are being spread thinly across other areas without prioritizing this critical zone," Deep State analysts concluded.
