Russian forces are trying to capture several settlements.

The Russian occupying army is intensifying its attacks to reach the administrative borders of Luhansk region, aiming to capture the settlements of Chernechchyna, Pervomaiske and Borova despite significant losses and resistance from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was stated by the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

"The front line of the 3rd Assault Brigade in Kharkiv region, which borders Luhansk, is currently one of the most intense areas of the enemy's offensive today. The units of the brigade are facing the 3rd and 144th divisions of the 20th Army of the Russian Federation," the military said.

The 3rd Assault Brigade notes that the enemy is advancing with tank regiments, employing significant amounts of artillery and additional units from PMC and special forces. They are also using FPV drones, guided bombs, and chemical weapons.

"Since May, the brigade’s fighters have already eliminated about 1,068 Russians, with nearly 2,292 more wounded. The enemy throws entire platoons and companies of personnel into assaults on our positions. Their rapid losses are compensated by a weekly influx of 250-400 soldiers from the Russian Armed Forces. Despite the enemy's superior numbers and the absence of reserves, the brigade has been holding its designated positions for over a month," the brigade’s statement read.
