The brutal killing was recorded on video by the occupiers and published online. This public display of violence once again highlights the sadism and cruelty of Russian soldiers.
Russian military forces have committed yet another war crime, executing a Ukrainian prisoner of war and releasing the execution video.
This was reported by the "I Want to Live" project.
The brutal killing was documented on video and shared online. Such public demonstrations of violence continue to expose the sadism and cruelty of Russian soldiers.
After the crime, one of the occupiers cynically stated in the video that they had come to "liberate" land that supposedly "belongs" to Russia, from "enemies" and "Nazism."
The project emphasizes that the latest killing of a Ukrainian prisoner of war serves as a reminder that participating in the war on Russia’s side means complicity in the bloodshed and crimes, for which all invaders will be held accountable.
"Ukrainian special services are aware of almost all such crimes committed by the occupiers. The release of the video of yet another execution by Russian soldiers simplifies the process of identifying the war criminals," the statement reads.
The project also reminds that war crimes and crimes against humanity have no statute of limitations, and those responsible will not go unpunished.
