Russian forces are conducting active offensive operations in the Pokrovsk direction; however, there is no immediate threat of hostilities in Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was reported by military expert Pavlo Narozhny in an interview with "Glavred." "Currently, Russian forces are quite far from Dnipropetrovsk region. I don't think they will penetrate so deeply into the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. For now, their objective is the capture of Siversk and Toretsk.
In Toretsk, we have rather serious fortifications. The city has been holding since 2014. However, Toretsk is now facing circumstances similar to those in Avdiivka. One flank of Toretsk is already under threat. The situation in Siversk is similar," he said.
