On August 28, the Russians launched another attack on Kupiansk. As a result of the shelling, 11 people were injured, including two policemen.

It is noted that on August 28, around 4:00 p.m., the occupiers launched an airstrike on Kupiansk. 11 people were injured, including two police officers.
A hotel, residential buildings, farm buildings, cars, shops, administrative buildings and other objects of civil infrastructure were also damaged.

"Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document the war crimes committed by the Russian military," the agency concluded.
Later, the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration reported that the number of injured had risen to 12.
"Inspection of the impact sites and the elimination of the consequences are ongoing," as Head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synehubov noted.
