The Kremlin has stated that the so-called "special military operation" by Russia in Ukraine is ongoing. They consider the termination of the "special military operation" with benefits for Moscow as the only option for ending the war.

These statements were made by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, as reported by Russian media outlets.

"Ensuring its own interests and achieving the goals set before Russia can be achieved through either the 'special military operation' or other available means," emphasized the press secretary of Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin.

When asked whether it is possible to allow a "freezing of the conflict" in Ukraine, Peskov replied that "Russia is in solidarity." By the way, he meant solidarity with Washington, where they spoke negatively about it.

According to Peskov, it is "premature to talk about a peaceful settlement of the war" because "there are no prerequisites for a peaceful settlement."
