«Early this morning, the Russian army struck a children’s hospital in Kherson. They could not have not known where they were hitting. This was a deliberate strike against children, medical personnel, and the basic guarantees of life in the community, ” the President emphasized.

According to him, the hospital building sustained significant damage. Among the injured were children receiving treatment and medical staff. The youngest injured child is eight years old.

Also injured were a mother and her two sons. At the time of the strike, about a hundred people were inside the hospital.

«Russia is not even ashamed to consider such facilities as legitimate targets, ” Zelenskyy added.

The President stressed that Russia remains the world’s largest terrorist organization, deliberately undermining efforts to end the war diplomatically and creating new centers of destabilization in Europe.

«Nothing persuades Russia except pressure and force. The right move by America is robust sanctions against Russian oil companies. Such measures must persist to strip Moscow of the means to prolong the war,» Zelenskyy stated.

In closing, the Head of State expressed gratitude to all partners aiding Ukraine in countering Russian terror: «Terrorists must be dealt with only as they deserve—through force and justice. Thank you to everyone helping Ukraine!»
