Ukraine has many needs to wage the war, but the primary ones remain people and weapons.

This opinion was expressed by Ivan Stupak, a former SSU officer and consultant to the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, in an interview with Radio NV.

«It’s a complex question. We need everything: from aircraft to spare parts, which are in short supply. Everything. Ukraine needs it all. You can’t say there’s one type of weaponry that would allow us to go on the offensive. We need everything — first aid kits, body armor, people, aircraft, their components, fuel. There isn’t just one key item, ” Stupak said.

In his view, aircraft and long-range missiles could «reduce the intensity and momentum of the Russian offensive.» However, he emphasized that people are the most critical factor.

Additionally, he highlighted the importance of worsening Russia’s situation.

«The more problems the Russian Federation faces — problems created by major countries and not just created but sustained over a long period — the more this will produce a synergistic effect, ” Stupak concluded.
