What weapons does the enemy use to attack front-line territories: Yusov answered

Unfortunately, the enemy is actively attacking the front-line territories, in particular the north of Ukraine, where the civilian population is suffering and there are significant destructions of civilian infrastructure and civilian casualties.

Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, told about this on the air of the telethon.

He also touched on the issue of receiving long-range cruise missiles from Great Britain, the priority tasks of weapons and how they can affect the strategic military situation.

"We won't discuss the specific tasks at the moment. We will see the tasks completed and be able to discuss their results. Regarding strategic changes, of course, the enemy will take into account the supply of any new types of weapons for basing and deploying their forces, for the defense and reinforcement of air defense and missile defense systems of various objects primarily located in the occupied territories. Therefore, undoubtedly, the enemy will consider this information, and it is logical," noted Yusov.

Regarding compensatory mechanisms for the "Shahed" drones, it is evident that various measures are currently being actively employed, including barrage ammunition and ammunition with GPS navigation systems, among others.

"Unfortunately, there is active aggression targeting the front-line territories, particularly in northern Ukraine, where the civilian population suffers and there are significant damages to civilian infrastructure and casualties among the civilian population. This is accompanied by an increased activity of sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG), especially along our northern border. Yes, hostile SRGs are attempting to infiltrate our border. There was recently a case of shooting at civilian vehicles by Russians in Chernihiv region. Unfortunately, there are casualties. Therefore, yes, the Russians are combining their means and forces. Ukrainian security and defense forces are analyzing this situation and taking it into proper account for the implementation of their further plans to liberate the occupied territories and protect the Ukrainian border," Yusov noted.
