Zelenskyy informed about details of the most powerful drone strike on Kyiv

On the night of May 28th, the Russians carried out a massive attack on Ukraine. Our country experienced one of the largest Russian drone attacks. Almost all of them were destroyed. Unfortunately, there were some hits in the Zhytomyr region.

President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, reported on this in his address on May 28th.

"However, the majority of the destruction was averted, and most of the lives that could have been taken by these 'Shahed' drones were preserved. I thank everyone who ensured this! The Air Defense Forces, Air Force, Air Defense of the Ground Forces, and our mobile strike groups... Thank you, warriors!" - expressed Zelenskyy.

During the terrorist attack on May 28th, the most powerful strike in terms of quantity was directed specifically against the Kyiv region.

"This is how Russia commemorates the Day of our ancient Kyiv... Throughout its history, Kyiv has witnessed various treacheries by invaders. It has survived them all and will survive the Russians as well. None of them will be here," he emphasized.
