Zelenskyy invited another country to participate in preparing the upcoming Global Peace Summit

The President of Ukraine held a telephone conversation with the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited the representative of the country to the next meeting of advisers in Davos and to participate in the preparation of the upcoming Global Peace Summit.

This was announced by the Ukrainian leader on Telegram.

What else was discussed: 

According to the President, he:

• expressed gratitude to Kuwait for supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, for voting in favor of key Ukrainian resolutions in the UN, and for timely assistance with generators ahead of winter.

• spoke about countering missile terror, which Russia renewed during the New Year holidays;

• discussed the prospects of cooperation in the energy and agricultural sectors.

"Ukraine is exerting maximum effort to restore a just peace. We ensure freedom of navigation in the Black Sea and remain a guarantor of global food stability," the Ukrainian leader says.

He emphasizes that our country is actively working on the next steps towards implementing the Peace Formula. The voice and positions of the Gulf countries are important in this matter.

"Invited Kuwait to send a representative to the next advisors' meeting in Davos and participate in preparing the upcoming Global Peace Summit," - Zelenskyy noted.
